However, when Hagath made a deal with the Regent of Palamar that would result in 28 million dead, Quark suffered an attack of conscience and double-crossed Hagath and Gaila by letting the Regent and General Nassuc find out they were selling to both sides. One of a pair of (Lissepian?) brothers who came to DS9 and told Quark they had lent Morn 1000 bricks of gold-pressed latinum, which they wanted Quark to pay back from the estate. Proconsul Merrok- "Rivals"
A Romulan official who had been poisoned. Garak claimed to have been working as a gardener at the Cardassian embassy on Romulus at the time. Odo's theory was that the Romulans poisoned Merrok, but Garak was responsible for the transporter accident that killed Subcommander Ustard.

Alexander lived with Worf's human foster parents on Earth, then with Worf on the Enterprise until its destruction, when he was sent back to Earth again. Eventually, Alexander joined the Klingon Defense Forces. He and Worf were reunited when Alexander was assigned to the Rotarran. Alexander, who had never previously shown any aptitude or interest in becoming a warrior, was the butt of jokes from the other recruits, and was bitter toward his father. However, after sealing a plasma leak during a battle with the Jem'Hadar, he decided to join the House of Martok and reconcile with Worf.

He had been made weapons officer of the Ya'Vang.
- "Penumbra"; he did not appear
(Note: Alexander is probably the worst case of "Star Trek Child Rapid Aging Syndrome", of which Molly O'Brien is also a victim. He was conceived in "The Emissary" [TNG], in late 2365; therefore he had to have been born in 2366, yet this makes Alexander only 8 years old in 2374. Either a time warp is involved somewhere, or Klingons mature very fast, even those with human blood, though there is no other evidence supporting this. In "Firstborn" [TNG], an older version of Alexander stated he was three at the time that he was first introduced to his father in 2367.)

Captain Stadius- "The Sword of Kahless"
The honoree of a reception on DS9, at which Bashir was "concentrating" on a female junior lieutenant, as Dax recalled.
Talarian- "If Wishes Were Horses"
Was eating on the Promenade with a human at the same time Garak and Bashir were having lunch.
Talura (Charlie Curtis [uncredited])- "Improbable Cause"
Hagath's beautiful and silent companion. (The actress is identified in The Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion.)
Tamal (Michael Canavan)- "Business as Usual"
One of Tom Riker's Maquis accomplices.
General Ardelon Tandro- "Defiant"
A Klaestron, hero of a civil war in 2339. There are statues of him all over his home planet. No one but his wife Enina knew that he had betrayed his people and been murdered by the rebels. In 2369, Dax was accused of the treachery that led to his death, but was cleared by Enina.
- "Dax"
Enina Tandro (Fionnula Flanagan)
A Klaestron, widow of General Ardelon Tandro. She had an affair with Curzon Dax in 2339; he was in her bed at the time the transmission was supposedly sent that betrayed her husband. Contacted by Odo thirty years later, she traveled to DS9 to provide Dax with that alibi.
- "Dax"
Ilon Tandro (Gregory Itzin)
A Klaestron, son of Ardelon and Enina Tandro. Obsessed with his father's death, he accused Dax of the general's betrayal and murder, and tried to extradite her from the station. He was shocked when his mother came forward with her testimony.
Madame Ambassador Taxco (Constance Towers)- "Dax"
An Arbazan ambassador, one of a "fact finding" delegation to the wormhole. She was demanding, and contributed to making Bashir's life miserable, until he earned her gratitude by saving her life in a fire.
Villus Thed- "The Forsaken"
A criminal who was expected on DS9. Odo briefed his deputies to stay five meters away from Thed at all times, since he is a short-range telepath.
Thief- "Second Sight"
A huge alien whom Nog assisted in looting the assay office. They were surprised by Odo in the act of escaping. The thief threw a weapon at Odo, who shapeshifted to avoid it and captured them both.
Tilikia (Dell Yount)- "Emissary" (Called Jas-qal in the novelization; his race was called B'kaazi.)
A Boslic freighter captain who, when Kurn discovered contraband on his ship, pulled a disruptor and shot him, though Kurn could have easily disarmed him. The only thing that saved Kurn was Tilikia's shaky aim.
- "Sons of Mogh"
Tiron (Jeffrey Combs)
A business associate of Quark's who was interested in Kira; when she claimed that she and Odo were lovers, he commissioned Quark to create a holosuite program featuring Kira's image. Odo got wind of it and told Kira, who, with Odo's help, pulled a fast one. Tiron walked into the holosuite and saw a vision with Kira's body and Quark's head. He swore to ruin Quark.
Plix Tixiplik- "Meridian"
A Reegrunion criminal wanted in seven systems for illegal weapons sales. His "wanted" screen was on the wall in Odo's office.
T'nag- "Sanctuary"
Someone who had an army that was taken on by Kor, Kang, and Koloth. Kor held Korma Pass against him. When recounting the tale (slightly exaggerated) in Quark's, Kor said that no one knew exactly who slew T'nag, so all three feasted on his heart.
- "The Sword of Kahless", "Once More Unto the Breach"
Grathon Tolar (Howard Shangraw)
A criminal of an unnamed, blue-skinned species; he was an expert at holoforgery and an acquaintance of Garak's. He was awaiting execution in a Klingon prison when Sisko arranged a pardon for him, in exchange for creating a fake holorecording of Weyoun and Damar plotting the invasion of Romulus. While on DS9, Tolar stabbed Quark in a scuffle over a Dabo girl; Sisko had to bribe Quark not to press charges. After the program had been recorded, Garak apparently (without Sisko's knowledge at the time) killed Tolar to keep him quiet, as insurance in case the trickery was discovered.
Dr. Trag'tok- "In the Pale Moonlight"
Someone Dax suggested to Kira as Kira pondered whom to bring to a dinner with Dax and Worf. Kira passed, since she was bothered by his eye -- the third one, in the middle of his forehead.
Traidy (John Durbin)- "Resurrection"
One of two Finnean hitmen sent by their boss, Draim, to DS9 on a mission to find Arissa's data crystal. Traidy and Sorm killed Tauvid Rem. The two met with Arissa when she offered to give Draim the crystal. As they were about to kill her, they were subdued and arrested by Odo.
Trajok (Chris Nelson Norris)- "A Simple Investigation"
An alien man who coached Dax in Galeo-Manada style wrestling.
Kestra Troi- "Playing God"
Lwaxana's first child, a daughter who died in a drowning accident at age 6.
- "The Muse"
Madame Ambassador Lwaxana Troi (Majel Barrett)
Subcommander T'Rul (Martha Hackett)
A Betazoid ambassador, Daughter of the Fifth House, Holder of the Sacred Chalice of Rixx, and Heir to the Holy Rings of Betazed. Lwaxana came to DS9 for the first time in "The Forsaken", as part of a fact-finding delegation, and became smitten with Odo. The two of them were trapped for some time together on a turbolift, where Lwaxana came to understand him better.
She returned in "Fascination" for the Gratitude Festival, unaware that she had Zanthi fever, which caused her to project her emotions to others nearby (in this case, her amorous feelings for Odo). By the time she was cured, Lwaxana realized that Odo was in love with Kira.
Afterwards, Lwaxana sought to mend her broken heart by marrying a Tavnian official named Jeyal; but she ended up feeling imprisoned in her own home. When she became pregnant with a son, and her husband declared that the baby would be raised by him alone (according to his world's customs), Lwaxana fled, coming to Odo on DS9 for protection. Odo helped her keep custody of the baby by marrying her himself. He indicated that he wouldn't have minded if Lwaxana remained, but, knowing that he would never return her feelings, she left DS9 to have her baby on Betazed instead ("The Muse"). Lwaxana's marriage to Odo was never mentioned again on the series, but it was presumably annulled in a few months.
Other facts: Lwaxana had two daughters by her first husband, a human Starfleet officer named Ian Andrew Troi. Her elder daughter, Kestra, drowned in an accident (a memory Lwaxana repressed until 2370); her second daughter, Deanna, became ship's counselor on the Enterprise-D (and later the Enterprise-E).
Appearances: "The Forsaken", "Fascination", "The Muse".
A Romulan officer assigned to operate the cloaking device on the Defiant during the mission to contact the Founders. She was captured with Sisko and Bashir, and together with Dax and O'Brien, they experienced a simulated reality in which, among other things, T'Rul was killed on DS9 by Jem'Hadar soldiers. She was alive and well, however, when she woke up.
Uri'Lash (Sylvain Cecile)- "The Search, Parts I and II"
Brunt's Hupyrian servant when he served as Acting Grand Nagus. Uri'Lash and Maihar'du seemed to have a rivalry of their own going.
Subcommander Ustard- "Profit and Lace"
A Romulan officer, killed in a transporter accident. Odo theorized that Garak was responsible.
Ambassador Vadosia (Jack Shearer)- "Broken Link"
A Bolian ambassador, part of a "fact finding" delegation to the wormhole. He was eager to offer his advice to Sisko and to conduct first contact procedures with a probe that came to the station. Bashir earned his gratitude by saving his life and those of Taxco and Lojal in a fire.
Valerian (Stephen Parr)- "The Forsaken"
The captain of the Sherval Das.
Rao Vantika (James Harper)- "Dramatis Personae"
A Kobliad scientist responsible for numerous crimes on his homeworld. He had been evading authorities for twenty years and was scheming to steal a shipment of deuridium when captured by Ty Kajada. He caused an explosion aboard her ship; Kira and Bashir lent assistance. Vantika's body died after he had transferred his consciousness to Bashir's mind so he could continue his plans and escape. Finally, though, his consciousness was removed, placed in a micro-containment field, and destroyed by Kajada.
Subcommander Velal (Stephen Yoakam)- "The Passenger"
A Romulan who Cretak said would attend the next weekly briefing at DS9 in her place.

He was present at a meeting with Sisko, Admiral Ross, and Martok. He was addressed as "General." (Called simply "Romulan" in the script, but named "Velal" in the credits.)
- "When It Rains..."
Velal concurred with Martok's suggestion that they attack the Dominion.
- "The Dogs of War"
Senator Vreenak (Stephen McHattie)
A key member of the Romulan senate for 14 years, the most prominent pro-Dominion voice in his government, who had negotiated the Romulans' non-aggression pact with the Dominion. He was secretary of the War Plans Council, vice chairman of the Tal Shiar, and a trusted advisor to Proconsul Neral. On the way home from a diplomatic meeting with Weyoun on Soukara, he stopped at DS9, where he viewed a holorecording of the Dominion plotting to invade Romulus. After examination of the rod proved the recording to be fake, he vowed to expose Sisko's action; but while he was returning home, his shuttle exploded due to sabotage by Garak. The Romulan Empire declared war on the Dominion, whom they believed responsible, thanks to the recording.

Ermat Zimm- "The Circle"
The artist who engraved a portrait of DS9 on the inscription pens Quark was hawking, according to Quark.
Zolan (Dion Anderson)- "Fascination"
A businessman who arranged for Proka and Rugal to come to DS9 to help Proka look for work. He confided to Bashir that Proka abused Rugal for being a Cardassian, an accusation which turned out to be false.
