A Starfleet engineer under O'Brien.
Altrina- "The Assignment"
A girl Jake knows, who threw up when she learned that a portion of some Klingon food was live worms.
- "Second Sight"
Aluura (Symba Smith)
A woman who had been working as a Dabo girl at Quark's for three months in 2374. She had a perfect record and was well-liked for her pleasant manner. Quark hoped to persuade her (with veiled threats of firing her) to give him oo-mox, and gave her a book to read on the subject. Aluura read it, and actually thought that it sounded like fun, but due to his changed perspective, he told her to ignore it, and gave her a raise before coming to his senses.
Amaro (Jeffrey King)- "Profit and Lace"
A member of Starfleet Security; he was married. He and Stolzoff were sparring partners at the Academy. Amaro was part of the team sent to Empok Nor, and was stabbed to death by Garak, under the influence of a psychotropic drug.
Anara (Benita Andre)- "Empok Nor"
A Bajoran engineer, O'Brien's assistant, who was later replaced by Neela.
Annel- "The Forsaken"
The O'Briens' regular babysitter, who was not available due to a family emergency.
Aphasia Victims (Kathleen Wirt, Lee Brooks)- "Business As Usual"
Brought to the infirmary by Nurse Jabara.
Ensign Aquino- "Babel"
An engineer under O'Brien. When he investigated a security breach on runabout pad A, he found Neela, who killed him and put his body in a conduit where energy bursts reduced it to ashes.
Lysia Arlin- "In the Hands of the Prophets"
The Bolian woman who ran the jumja kiosk on the Promenade in 2370. She had been visiting the security office a lot lately, on the pretext that her cousin was interested in a career in law enforcement. Odo was startled when Dax suggested that the real reason was that Lysia herself was interested in Odo.
Lt. Arriaga- "Shadowplay"
A Starfleet officer assigned to DS9, secretly under orders from Admiral Leyton. He placed a subspace modulator on the relay satellite on the Gamma Quadrant end of the wormhole, which caused the wormhole to open and close as if a cloaked fleet were coming through it. Arriaga was taken into custody and brought to Earth on the Defiant to testify against Leyton.
assay office- "Paradise Lost"
A place on the Promenade where valuables are assessed and stored. They are protected by a personal authorization code and a verified retinal print that uses a Cardassian MK-12 scanner. The individual chambers are surrounded by force fields.

One of the workers there is a woman named Freyla.
Bajoran Clerk (Van Epperson)- "Shadowplay"
Manager of DS9's assay office.
Bajoran Deputy (Richard Ryder)- "Q-Less"
Called Odo to a Promenade airlock to deal with Lursa and B'Etor, who were refusing to give up their weapons.
Bajoran Officer (William Wellman, Jr.)- "Past Prologue"
A security deputy on guard, along with a Jem'Hadar soldier, outside Odo's quarters while Odo was in them with the Female Changeling.
Nurse Bandee (Kate Asner)- "Favor the Bold"
A member of Bashir's staff, who assisted in the effort to revive Sloan, inside Sloan's mind.
Bartlett- "Extreme Measures"; she was first mentioned in "Inquisition", though she did not appear
An officer on the Defiant, killed in the attack by the Lakota.

Bertram
A Starfleet crewman who died in the runabout that was destroyed on the mission to Torga IV.
Ensign Bertram- "The Ship"
A DS9 crewmember whom Ezri tackled when she saw security personnel chasing him; she thought he was the murderer, and almost stabbed him. Sisko told her that Bertram had accessed replicator patterns for the TR-116 a month ago without authorization, because he collects weapons. However, the fact that he was on Bajor when Ilario was killed eliminated him as a suspect.
Lt. Bilecki- "Field of Fire"
A female Starfleet officer on DS9, engaged to a Bajoran man.
Bolian (Jeff Austin)- "The Siege"
A Starfleet security crewmember on the Defiant during the mission to Tzenkethi space. He was paired with Kira in the search for the Changeling; they got separated. When they met again, he accused her of being the Changeling.
Bolian restaurant- "The Adversary"
There is a new one on the Promenade, where the meat is aged.
Boq'ta (Andy Milder)- "Crossfire"
A Bolian Starfleet engineer, working in waste extraction with Pechetti until persuaded by the latter to volunteer for the mission to Empok Nor. Boq'ta was killed there by one of the drugged Cardassian soldiers left behind.
Boyce- "Empok Nor"
A member of the Defiant's bridge crew, killed in a Jem'Hadar attack.
Ensign Boyer- "Starship Down"
A DS9 crew member whom O'Brien suggested to take Bashir to Bajor, rather than himself.
Lieutenant Brilgar (Christian Conrad)- "The Storyteller"
A Bajoran security deputy, who guarded Kira during the killings of former Shakaar resistance cell members. He was subdued by Furel and Lupaza, who thought at first he was the killer.
Broik (David B. Levinson [uncredited and without lines except for "The Dogs of War"])- "The Darkness and the Light"
A Ferengi employee at Quark's.
Petty Officer Zim Brott- "Move Along Home", "Bar Association", "Who Mourns for Morn?", "The Dogs of War"
A Bolian Starfleet crewman who had served on DS9 for five years in engineering or security. Jadzia had known him. Brott had a wife, a co-husband, and children on Bolarus. He was the third person to be murdered by Chu'lak.
Cardassian Officer (Darin Cooper)- "Field of Fire"
He was on duty in the security office when Quark and Ziyal came in with a hasperat souffle for Kira. The suspicious Cardassian started to search it, and was knocked out by a timely hypospray wielded by Ziyal.
Ensign Carson (Sara Mornell)- "Sacrifice of Angels"
A member of the Defiant's bridge crew.
Celestial Cafe- "Starship Down"
A new Bajoran restaurant overlooking the Promenade, owned by Chalan Aroya.
Chalan Aroya (Jill Jacobson)- "Broken Link"
A Bajoran, owner of the Celestial Cafe. At her probable instigation, Garak called Odo to his shop to meet her. She flirtatiously asked Odo to have dinner with her. Later, after Odo returned to the station as a solid, she offered to help him "adjust".

Chester
An Earth-type domestic cat, white and gray with long fur. He formerly belonged to a man named Bilby (see under Humans), who was killed after asking O'Brien to make sure Chester was taken care of. O'Brien adopted Chester and brought him to DS9.
Lt. Chu'lak (Marty Rackham)- "Honor Among Thieves", "Time's Orphan"
A Vulcan science officer, age 97, who had served 10 years on the USS Grissom until it was destroyed with only six survivors. He then was assigned to DS9, and had been there three months when he murdered three Starfleet officers: Ilario, Vanderweg, and Brott. Chu'lak used a TR-116 rifle, modified with a microtransporter and an exographic targeting sensor. His victims were chosen because they had pictures of themselves smiling or laughing; apparently Chu'lak had snapped due to the loss of his friends on the Grissom. He was wounded and taken into custody by Ezri Dax after attempting to kill her as well.
Club Martus- "Field of Fire"
A club which Martus opened in partnership with Roana, across from Quark's; formerly a shop owned by Roana and her husband. It featured large versions of Martus' causal orb, until it was closed down.
core section- "Rivals"
The central "hub" of DS9, containing Ops and the Promenade, among other things.
Dabo Girl (Diana Cignoni)- "Emissary", "A Man Alone"
Dabo Girl (Nicole Forester)Greeted Bashir in "Ops" (inside his mind) by singing "Happy Birthday" to him.
Davises- "Distant Voices"
A Starfleet family on DS9. O'Brien wanted to have Molly stay with them while Keiko was possessed by a pah-wraith.

An engineer who was scheduled to recalibrate EPS regulators, but got sick; O'Brien had to fill in.

An engineer on DS9, under O'Brien. Sisko put him in charge of the preparations for the Paradan peace talks.

deflector array
It can be disabled by accessing the EPS feed and overloading the waveguide; but it is protected by alarms, which can be taken offline during a diagnostic run from the security office.
Deputy (actor uncredited)- "Behind the Lines"
A Bajoran security officer guarding Quark when the latter was comatose in the infirmary. He was stabbed by Trazko.
Deputy (Joel Goodness)- "Necessary Evil"
On guard duty while Laas was in a holding cell.
docking ring- "Chimera"
The outer ring of DS9. There are twelve docking ports around the rim, and one each on the six pylons (three upper and three lower) to accommodate large vessels.
Crewman DonarkA member of the security crew on DS9. Odo reported to Kira that he had reassigned him to the Defiant as part of the security detachment.
Duarte- "Shakaar"
A Starfleet engineer under O'Brien, on the day shift. He had become as "sick as a vole", and was replaced by Rom.

Ensign (Jeff Pruitt)
A Bajoran DS9 crew member whom Bashir, under the influence of the Saltah'nah telepathic matrix, gave a small device apparently intended to kill Sisko.
EPS regulators- "Dramatis Personae"
Things which had to be recalibrated so that they wouldn't interfere with the station's artificial gravity grid.
Etheria- "In the Cards"
A Dabo girl. While testifying at Worf's extradition hearing, Quark couldn't recall if she, Glidia, or Midia was talking with Bashir or if it was Ralidia talking with Morn at the time that Worf came into the bar.
First Guard (Daniel Riordan)- "Rules of Engagement"
A Bajoran deputy from DS9, one of the security people who tried to take Baltrim and Keena off Jeraddo by force.
Fredericksons- "Progress"
A Starfleet family on DS9 who sometimes care for Molly.
Freyla- "Cardassians", "Whispers"
A worker at DS9's assay office, whom Ensign Manwaring thought was in love with Lt. Strek. Actually, she was waiting for Manwaring to ask her out, according to Dax.
Frool (Emilio Borelli)- "Shadowplay"
A Ferengi waiter at Quark's, with a bad back, who joined the Guild of Restaurant and Casino Employees, but caved in and grovelled to Brunt.

Used to power DS9's operations.

Gia (Laura Jane Salvato)
A Bajoran engineer on DS9, who gave up her seat in the Replimat to Kira, because of the superior status of Kira's d'jarra; Kira was Ih'valla while Gia was te'nari. (Note: her name is spelled Jia in the script, but in the credits, it's spelled Gia.)

A Bajoran female doctor on Bashir's staff, on night duty.

Ensign Paul Gordon (Joseph Fuqua)
A Starfleet officer who was with Sisko and company on the commandeered Jem'Hadar warship, and survived its crash, only to be killed in a subsequent battle with the Jem'Hadar.

A Ferengi waiter at Quark's, who joined the Guild of Restaurant and Casino Employees despite his doubts.
Guard (Randy Pflug)- "Bar Association"
A Starfleet security guard placed by O'Brien at Sisko's quarters.
Guard (Steven John Evans)- "Dramatis Personae"
A Starfleet security guard posted at Gul Dukat's quarters when he was given a knockout hypospray by Sakonna.
Guard (Scott McElroy)- "The Maquis, Part I"
Tried to stop Kira from entering the O'Briens' quarters after the bombing that killed Furel and Lupaza.
Guild of Restaurant and Casino Employees- "The Darkness and the Light"
A union formed and led by Rom; all of Quark's employees joined. Their demands were increased pay, shorter hours, and paid sick leave. When Quark refused, the workers went on strike. Finally, Quark made a deal with Rom: if he would officially dissolve the union, Quark would secretly meet its demands. Rom agreed.
habitat ring- "Bar Association"
The ring of DS9 between the core section and the docking ring, containing living quarters and the runabout pads.
Lt. HajA comm officer on the Defiant, injured during the Argolis cluster mission; Bashir replaced him.
Hartla- "Behind the Lines"
A Dabo girl of Boheeka's acquaintance when he was stationed on Terok Nor; she was still on the station in 2370. Boheeka reminisced with Quark about her.
Helm Officer (Christopher Michael)- "The Wire"
On the Defiant, in a hypothetical situation in which Ch'Pok had O'Brien theorize as to what he would have done in Worf's place.
holosuites- "Rules of Engagement"
Rooms on the second floor of Quark's, where patrons can run holoprograms for a fee.
HortakA nurse on DS9; she called Bashir to the infirmary when the Jem'Hadar boy ran amok.
Ensign Hoya (Hilary Shepard)- "The Abandoned"
A Benzite Starfleet officer (who had no breathing tube). She commanded the runabout in orbit while Sisko and an away team conducted a mineral survey of Torga IV. Sisko had officiated at Hoya's wedding. Hoya and two others were killed when the runabout was destroyed by a Jem'Hadar warship.
Ijarna- "The Ship"
A resident of DS9. During a security review meeting with Odo, Kira noticed an assault complaint filed by Ijarna against his wife; when Kira asked why Ijarna stays with her, Odo pointed out a later incident where he had caught the couple indulging in "public lewdness" behind the information kiosk.
- "Crossfire"
Lt. Hector Ilario (Art Chudabala)
A 22-year-old human fighter pilot, class of '72, who had been on DS9 for ten days, seven of which he spent on the Defiant. He was the subject of a victory party in Quark's after having flown the ship in battle against six Jem'Hadar fighters. Afterwards, he was killed in his quarters, the first victim of Chu'lak.
Imutta- "Field of Fire"
A Bajoran monk on DS9, whom Vedek Porta asked to resign in order to return to his family d'jarra: the "unclean" caste who prepared the dead for burial. Imutta refused, whereupon Porta pushed him from the upper level of the Promenade, breaking Imutta's neck and killing him.
industrial replicator- "Accession"
There is one on DS9, on level 17. Someone (the Bashir Changeling, presumably) overrode its security blocks.
information kiosk- "By Inferno's Light"
On the second level of the Promenade.

A Starfleet security officer who was standing guard outside Kira's quarters while Shakaar was inside with her. Odo came along and relieved him.
Jiyar (Patrick B. Egan)- "Crossfire"
A Starfleet engineer under O'Brien, on the day shift.
Ensign Jonas- "The Assignment"
A member of DS9's engineering staff, assigned to work on airlock 9.
Jones (Randy James)- "The Nagus"
Credited as "Security"; a Starfleet security officer who called Odo when he caught the O'Briens about to escape with Molly.
Kandra Vilk- "Time's Orphan"
A Bajoran woman who sold Bajoran tapestries and antiques in a shop on the Promenade, until moving to a neutral world in the Coridan system in 2373.
Ensign Kelly- "In the Cards"
A Starfleet officer on DS9 whose daughter, in partnership with a Bajoran girl, won an award at a science fair.
Kesha (Tami-Adrian George)- "The Siege"
A young Bajoran woman whom Jake brought into the Vic Fontaine program as his date. He introduced her to Nog, who was cold toward the two of them and started a fight with Jake. Later Nog planned to buy them dinner as an apology.

Angie Kirby
A Defiant crewmember who had transferred there a week before. Bashir learned that he had ended up with her after the crash; he was thinking of asking her out after they got back to the station.
Ensign Kirby- "Children of Time"
She didn't believe Bashir's story of replacing Lt. Haj at the comm during the Argolis cluster mission on the Defiant.
Klingon (John Eric Bentley)- "Behind the Lines" (It is entirely possible that this was the Angie Kirby referred to in "Children of Time".)
Was on the Promenade with another Klingon when it was covered by a fog which was actually Laas. After Laas reformed, this Klingon accused him of being a Founder, and attacked him with a knife. The Klingon was restrained by Odo, but Laas killed his friend, who was going for a weapon.

The proprietor of a Klingon restaurant on the Promenade.
K'retok- "Melora", "Playing God"
A member of the Klingon detachment to DS9, under Martok. Martok "disciplined" him by throwing him off a crossway, barely missing the Bolian ambassador; K'retok was not injured.
Laira- "Ferengi Love Songs"
A Bajoran girl who agreed to go out with Jake, but later cancelled because her father forbade her to date a non-Bajoran.
Latara (Grace Zandarski)- "The Homecoming"
A young Bajoran woman who came with her newly-wedded husband to Sisko for the Emissary's blessing.

Level Four clearance
The level of security access needed to find out details of a runabout mission.
- "Vortex"
Bashir, Dax, and Worf have this level, which is the level needed to be an intelligence officer and a fleet liaison.
Level Five security protocol- "Soldiers of the Empire"
Used to lock down an area from all access. Only Sisko and Odo have that authority.
Litana- "Dramatis Personae"
An engineer under O'Brien, on the day shift. Rom believed she liked him; according to him, she was always finding excuses to talk to him.
Luta- "The Assignment"
A girl in Jake's and Nog's class.
manhunt pool- "The Nagus" (mentioned only in a scene cut from the aired episode)
Quark told Odo that every time there's an unusual crime committed on the station, he holds a pool for people to bet on how long it'll take Odo to catch the perpetrator.
Ensign Manwaring- "Crossfire"
A DS9 crew member who had been avoiding the assay office because he thought Freyla was in love with Lt. Strek, according to Dax.

Mardah (Jill Sayre)
A Bajoran Dabo girl at Quark's, whom Jake dated for a time; she was four years older than him. She was a writer, and studied entomology. Mardah's parents had been killed, and she was raised by neighbors. Her brother Sarjeno and sister Koran disapproved of her being a Dabo girl. Sisko found himself liking her despite himself.

Mardah and Jake broke up when she was accepted to the science academy on Regulus II.

A.k.a. docking clamps; they secure a ship to the station.

A Dabo girl whom a drunken Tolar asked to dance with him. She refused; a scuffle ensued, during which Quark intervened and was stabbed by Tolar.

She teamed up with Leeta to demand a bigger share of tips.
Enrique Muniz (F. J. Rio)- "The Dogs of War"
An enlisted Starfleet engineer on DS9, whose nickname was Quique. He had the same birthday as Jake Sisko. Muniz was a friend of O'Brien's as well as being a subordinate. He was a member of the away team in "The Ship", and was mortally wounded by a Jem'Hadar phaser, eventually dying because of the anticoagulant left in his blood by the weapon.
Neela (Robin Christopher)- "Starship Down", "Hard Time", "The Ship"
A Bajoran engineer, O'Brien's apprentice. She was revealed to be working on DS9 as a cover to assassinate Vedek Bareil, and was arrested in the attempt. Neela was a follower of Vedek Winn and was working on her behalf, but this was not proven.
Lt. Lisa Neeley (Sarah MacDonnell)- "Duet", "In the Hands of the Prophets"
A Starfleet officer who was with Sisko and company on the commandeered Jem'Hadar warship, and survived its crash.
Niners- "Rocks and Shoals"
The baseball team consisting of most of the DS9 senior officers (and a few civilian station residents). They were recruited for one game against the all-Vulcan Logicians from the USS T'Kumbra, and were soundly defeated (10-1).

Officer (Randy James)
Encountered Jack, Lauren, and Patrick in a corridor. He may have been the same security officer seen in "Time's Orphan".
Ojuy Gel- "Chrysalis"
A Bajoran DS9 resident who was caught by one of Odo's deputies while putting political graffiti on a wall, protesting Shakaar's upcoming visit. He had also been distributing leaflets opposing Bajor's joining the Federation. The arbiter sentenced Ojuy to three weeks community service, on sanitation duty.
Okala (Louahn Lowe)- "Crossfire"
A Bajoran engineer working in Ops. She alerted Worf to the return of the runabout carrying Sisko, Odo, Dax, and Garak.
Onara (David Carpenter)- "Things Past"
A Bajoran engineer on DS9, who approached Sisko and asked him to bestow the Emissary's blessings on his 14-year-old daughter at her ih'tanu ceremony; Sisko agreed.

Ops
Short for Operations Center, the command facility of DS9, located at the top of the core section. It has work stations on various levels, and an office on the highest level, where the commander can look down on subordinates, as is common in Cardassian architecture. There is also a small transporter pad and an operations table.

Vedek at DS9's Bajoran shrine in 2374. He allowed the mirror Bareil to experience the Orb of Prophecy and Change while it was on the station.
Ensign Palmers- "Resurrection"
A security officer on DS9. Odo reported to Kira that he had transferred Palmers back to night watch.
Ensign Pauley- "Shakaar"
An ensign in the science department who went to the Gamma Quadrant with Dax; they brought back Vash.
- "Q-Less"
Ensign Melora Pazlar (Daphne Ashbrook)
The first Elaysian to enter Starfleet; a stellar cartographer. She got around using a wheelchair, walking occasionally with the use of a special framework and a cane. Once arrangements were made for her to be able to maneuver on DS9, she made a point of being completely independent. Melora became involved with Bashir, who began treating her, modifying a method of neuromuscular adaptation with the goal of freeing her from her chair and cane. However, after she was instrumental in ending a hostage situation, Melora chose to remain as she was.
Pechetti (Tom Hodges)- "Melora"
A Starfleet engineer, working in waste extraction with Boq'ta until he volunteered for the mission to Empok Nor. Pechetti was a collector of Cardassian emblems and insignia. He was killed by one of the drugged Cardassian soldiers left behind on the abandoned station.
Peterson- "Empok Nor"
A member of the Defiant's bridge crew, killed in a Jem'Hadar attack.
Petersons- "Starship Down"
A Starfleet family on DS9 who cared for Molly when the O'Briens went on vacation. Keiko said Molly likes them better than her own parents.
Deputy Pinar (Shaun Bieniek)- "Tribunal"
Credited simply as "Deputy"; he was on duty in the holding cell area when O'Brien knocked him out with a hypospray.
- "Time's Orphan"
Vedek Porta (Robert Symonds)
A vedek, seemingly presiding at the DS9 temple, who brought a newlywed Bajoran couple to meet Sisko, and later assisted the "new" Emissary, Akorem. He counseled Kira to give up her uniform to follow her d'jarra wholeheartedly. Later, he pushed a monk, Imutta, over the railing of the second level on the Promenade, killing him. He told Sisko and Odo he did it because Imutta refused to follow his d'jarra. Porta was arrested by Odo.
Lt. George Primmin (James Lashly)- "Accession"
A human Starfleet security officer. He had been a security officer for six years. Primmin was assigned to DS9 to oversee security arrangements for a deuridium shipment. He was condescending towards Odo, and the two clashed over who was in charge; however, Odo did allow Primmin credit for discovering Vantika's sabotage.
Promenade- "The Passenger"; also appeared in "Move Along Home"
A three-level area in the core section of DS9, location of many shops, bars, restaurants, services, and offices. Among them are Quark's bar, Garak's clothing shop, a Klingon restaurant, an information kiosk, a jumja kiosk, the Replimat, a Bajoran shrine, the infirmary, the security office, the schoolroom, and the assay office.

A subprogram in the DS9 computer, created by O'Brien to house a nonsentient entity that came to the station when data was downloaded from a probe from the Gamma Quadrant. The entity fed off the energy of an active computer, and caused stationwide malfunctions until O'Brien gave it a place to interact with the computer without interfering with it. The name "Pup" was inspired by Kira's observation that the entity was like a stray puppy that had attached itself to O'Brien.

Quark's Place
A three-level combination bar/casino/holographic brothel, usually known simply as Quark's. It is located on the Promenade, level 7, section 5, and has been there at least since 2363; Quark owns and operates it. Among the features there are a bar, Dabo tables, and holosuites on the second level. Referred to in Rom's labor contract as Quark's Bar and Holding Company ("Bar Association"). Quark, however, later recited its full name as "Quark's Bar, Grill, Gaming House, and Holosuite Arcade" ("Profit and Lace").
Ensign QuintanaA DS9 crew member. When Quark awarded her a free holosuite visit for being his "one millionth customer", Kira said she would let Quintana have it for his birthday.

A Defiant crew member, killed in the raid on Vandros IV.

An officer on the Defiant, killed in the attack by the Lakota.
Lt. Reese (Steven Vincent Leigh)- "Paradise Lost"
A Starfleet security officer on DS9, whom Eddington left in command when he made off with the CFI replicators. He later arrested Kasidy Yates.
replimat- "For the Cause"
A facility on the Promenade with tables, chairs, and food replicators.
Prylar RhitHead cleric at the DS9 shrine, whose gambling was causing a scandal in the Vedek Assembly; he was about to be recalled. Kira learned he had invited Bareil to speak at the shrine because he owed Quark a sizable Dabo debt.

Roana (Barbara Bosson)
A Bajoran woman who ran a shop on the Promenade until her husband died. She was about to relocate, but was persuaded by Martus to sell him part ownership in the shop instead, which he turned into Club Martus. He proposed marriage to her; however, she kicked him out when she caught him being "consoled" by a Dabo girl.

Rooney
A Starfleet crewman who died in the runabout that was destroyed on the mission to Torga IV. Sisko remembered that Rooney was a skilled trumpet player who once had people dancing in the aisles at Quark's.

Ruling Council
During the Dominion/Cardassian occupation of the station, a body made up of Dukat and Weyoun, which was joined by Odo at Weyoun's request after Odo demanded the reinstatement of his Bajoran security force.

In the first three seasons, DS9 had three runabouts stationed there at any given time. Apparently, though, in "By Inferno's Light", there were at least four, perhaps six (a runabout pad E was mentioned, and three runabouts were deployed while a fourth was in the Gamma Quadrant).

Miss Sarda complained to Sisko, who assured her that after he had talked to Quark, neither she nor anyone would be held to the provision.

A Bajoran deputy on duty outside a cargo bay when Intendent Kira (disguised as Major Kira) approached and asked him for a massage. When he complied, she knocked him out.

Set up at DS9's airlocks to screen for weapons. An alarm sounds when weapons are detected.
Security Officer SeeleeA security deputy on DS9. When Dax gossiped to him that Seelee was seeing Lt. Strek, Odo said he would have a talk with her, as she had seemed distracted at work lately.
ship's store- "Shadowplay"
A shop that sells and repairs technological gadgets needed by ships. It was in the same location that Vaatrik's chemist shop had been in during the Occupation.

Syvar (Sherman Howard)- "Shadowplay"
A Vulcan Starfleet crewmember on DS9. He was competing at darts with O'Brien when the latter's shoulder went out.
Nurse Tagana (Patricia Tallman [uncredited])- "Shakaar"
One of Bashir's Bajoran medical assistants, knocked unconscious by Onaya, who then took Jake from the infirmary. Tagana was later able to describe her assailant.
Deputy Talpet- "The Muse"
A security officer who called Bashir when Garak locked himself in an airlock.
Ensign Rita Tannenbaum- "Afterimage"
An engineering crewmember on the Defiant, present on the mission in which the ship discovered Gaia. O'Brien was told that he married/would marry Tannenbaum ten years after the shipwreck.
Tekoa (Rosie Malek-Yonan)- "Children of Time"
A Bajoran engineer under O'Brien, on the day shift.
Counselor Telnorri- "The Assignment"
A counselor on DS9, presumably Starfleet. O'Brien was supposed to see him three times a week for treatment following his experience on Argratha, but stopped doing so. Finally, he agreed to resume the sessions.
Tiet- "Hard Time"
A friend of Jake's.
T'Lor- "Second Sight"
An alien Starfleet crewman on the mission to Torga IV. He was carrying the only medkit when he was killed by the Jem'Hadar. (According to the script, T'Lor was a Tiburonian.)
Vedek Tonsa- "The Ship"
A dark-skinned Bajoran cleric (who presumably replaced Prylar Rhit as head of DS9's shrine). He is the best springball player on the station. Sarish, although a poor player, planned to play a game with Tonsa in order to discuss his supporting Shakaar in the Vedek Assembly.

Transit Aid Center
A facility on DS9, run in 2369 by Zayra.
Ensign Tyler- "A Man Alone"
A DS9 crewmember who broke his leg, rescuing Bashir from dinner with Dax and Lenara.
Lt. Cmdr. Greta Vanderweg- "Rejoined"
Chu'lak's second victim. She was a human science officer, age 37, who had completed 12 years of service, the last three on DS9. Her husband was a micropaleontologist on Mora V.
Vendor (Michael Eugene Fairman)- "Field of Fire"
The Bajoran proprietor of a kiosk on the Promenade, who sold O'Brien a jumja stick, but later refused his business because of his wife's teachings.
Ensign (later Lt.) Vilix'pran- "In the Hands of the Prophets"
A DS9 crew member of an unstated species, for whom Bashir requested a transfer from cargo inventory because he was "budding" with twins. Bashir and O'Brien were throwing him a baby shower; O'Brien was building him a hatchling pond, while Bashir had ordered baby clothes from Garak.

Pran had become a lieutenant, and was budding again. He had six children already; this would make the total from eight to eighteen.
- "Apocalypse Rising"
Jake said he had babysat Pran's hatchlings, a task which included making sure their little wings didn't get tangled up. This was apparently when Pran was an ensign.

Trelos Vren
A thief who was arrested outside the Klingon restaurant on four counts of pickpocketing; Odo and Kira had arrested him once before for attempting to break into the assay office.

There is one on the Promenade, where Nog and Jake talked to Kasidy Yates.
Ensign Walker- "Indiscretion"
A Starfleet officer who had turned down Bashir's invitations to dinner three times; but she finally began dating him after he used pointers given to him by Vic Fontaine.
wardroom- "His Way"
A room which, sometime between the second and third seasons, was renovated and put into use by the senior staff, for conferences and also the occasional reception or party.
Weapons Officer (Patricia Tallman)On the Defiant; when she was injured, Worf took her place.

During the Dominion War, the station's Starfleet personnel made a grim ritual of studying this list, posted by Sisko in the wardroom every Friday morning, looking for and often finding the names of loved ones, friends, and acquaintances who had been killed or lost in the war.
